Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to your data.

1. Who We Are
Trinity AI University is operated by Trinity Bridge Pty Ltd (ABN available on request), a company registered in Australia. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this platform. Contact us at support@trinityuniversity.edu.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
Account and profile information
- Name and email address (provided on registration)
- Job title, industry, and role level (provided during assessment)
- Password (stored as a one-way hash — we never see your password)
Assessment data
- Your responses to the AI Skills Assessment
- Capability scores and learning path recommendations generated from your responses
- Counsellor notes and review comments associated with your profile
Payment information
- Payment card details are collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store or have access to your full card number.
- We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your account access.
Usage data
- Pages visited, features used, and interactions with course content
- IP address and browser/device type for security and analytics purposes
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Generate your AI capability assessment results and learning path recommendations
- Connect you with a guidance counsellor and facilitate counselling sessions
- Process subscription payments and manage billing through Stripe
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, enrollment confirmation, payment receipts)
- Send service communications (subscription renewal reminders, payment failures)
- Improve the platform and assessment quality using aggregated, anonymised data
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or share it with marketing companies.
4. Email Communications
We send emails via SMTP using our business email infrastructure (hosted by IONOS). By creating an account, you consent to receive transactional emails necessary to operate your account (e.g. assessment results, enrollment confirmations, payment receipts).
You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by contacting us at support@trinityuniversity.edu. You cannot opt out of transactional emails while you hold an active account or subscription.
5. Payment Processing (Stripe)
All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Stripe is a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. When you enter payment details, they are transmitted directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection and are never stored on our servers.
Stripe may collect and process personal information in accordance with their own Privacy Policy. We recommend reviewing their policy to understand how they handle your payment data.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on our cloud infrastructure (Oracle Cloud, Ashburn region, USA). We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no internet transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (e.g. financial records for tax purposes, which are retained for 7 years under Australian law).
8. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Upstash Redis — rate limiting and session caching (no personally identifiable data stored)
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure — hosting and infrastructure
- IONOS — email delivery
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other advertising tracking tools.
9. Your Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and personal data
- Object to processing of your data in certain circumstances
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format

10. Cookies
We use only essential cookies necessary for the platform to function, including authentication session cookies. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
11. Children
Our platform is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or prominent notice on the platform. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly.
